Sigma Films completed principle photography on Andrea Arnold's first feature film 'Red Road' in December 2006 and the film premiered in competition at Cannes, winning the Jury Prize. The film is part of a low budget, three feature film concept 'Advance Party' developed by Sigma Films and Zentropa. The next film under the Advance Party banner will be directed by Morag McKinnon.
Synopsis:
Jackie works as a CCTV operator. Each day she watches over a small part of the world, protecting the people living their lives under her gaze. One day a man appears on her monitor, a man she thought she would never see again, a man she never wanted to see again. Now she has no choice, she is compelled to confront him.
