Worldwide Premiere at Edinburgh IFF, 20th June 2010
Donkeys is the debut feature from director Morag McKinnon and the second in the three film concept 'Advance Party', devised by Sigma Films and Zentropa.
I Love Luci premiered at the London Short Film Festival in January, then went on to win the Prix des Mediatheques and was runner-up in the Audience Award at Clermont-Ferrand. The film, written and directed by Colin Kennedy and produced by Brian Coffey, is currently touring the European festival circuit.
Many congratulations to Paul Wright (pictured), one of the 8 Advance Party II directors, who has won the Golden Leopard at 62nd Locarno Film Festival for his short film
“Believe”.
Advance Party II will develop and produce a slate of eight new feature films from debut writer/directors from across Europe.
