Synopsis
David is a failure: unemployed, broke, 99% divorced and an absentee father. He is also impotent.
The only fully functioning thing in David’s life is his girlfriend: Alice. She supports him financially and emotionally, but the lifestyle mag she writes for is laying people off. She is one story away from being in the same position as David.
While searching the online job-market David gets distracted. He happens upon a swingers site – an amusing distraction from the boredom of unemployment. Alice is decidedly unamused when she comes home to an inbox full of lewd invitations on the household laptop. But once she realises this could be just the story she needs, she engages with unparalleled enthusiasm. This could be the answer to all their problems.
SWUNG is a graphic, touching and funny drama about the secret underside of a very modern relationship taken to its emotional and sexual limits.
