Win at Manhattan Short Film Festival

Short film I Love Luci recently scooped the Bronze Medal at New York based but genuinely global film festival, Manhattan Short.

The festival, created by Nick Mason and now in it’s 13th year, screens to around 10,000 people across 6 continents in the space of a week.  Every audience member is given a ballot paper to note their favourite film of the ten showing.  The votes are collated at the end of the week and the winners announced in NYC on the final night of the festival.

This year saw the closest run contest of the festivals history with David & Goliath taking the top spot, hysterically funny Aussie pic Dik picking up silver and Scotland’s I Love Luci coming in third.

Congratulations to Brian Coffey and Colin Kennedy on yet more gongs for their short film.  You can catch I Love Luci in the coming weeks at the Greneda Short Film Festival
